Workout apps vs Equil

A workout app makes you follow a fixed plan. Equil imports yours and adapts it.

Most workout apps hand you a fixed plan and expect you to keep up. Equil imports the same program, from a template, a manual builder or a photo or PDF, but keeps going: it adapts every session to your recovery, sleep and load, defends your glucose and reads your blood tests, in real time.

The problem with a fixed plan

A fixed plan ignores today.

A workout app hands you the plan you set weeks ago. Useful, honest and fully rigid. Watch the same morning through two apps:

1:51 PM
EquilBad night, HRV down. Today's heavy squats drop to Zone 2, 38 min.
2:00 PM
BodyYour legs still carry yesterday's session.
2:05 PM
Workout appShows the planned workout. 5x5 squats. Done.
Result
EquilYour plan already adapted. The workout app just showed the fixed one.
What a coach does that a workout app can't

Seven signals, one decision at a time.

HRV, glucose, sleep, sweat, training load, cycle phase, and weather in one model, read every 60 seconds.

Glucose

Spike defense, not reports

Equil sees the rise before the crash and gives the smallest, best-timed move. No CGM required.

Bloodwork

Reads your blood test

Import a lab report. Equil pulls your biomarkers, tracks them, and tells you what each one is.

New: bloodwork

Add your blood test. Equil reads it.

Your program is only part of it. Photograph your lab report and Equil turns a wall of numbers into something you actually understand and track over time.

01

Snap the report

Import a blood test as a PDF or a photo. Cholesterol panel, vitamins, iron, thyroid, anything printed on the page.

02

Equil extracts the values

It reads each biomarker, its unit, and the reference range, then files them on a chart you can follow month to month.

03

Plain-language meaning

Equil tells you what each marker is and whether it sits inside its range. It tracks, it does not diagnose, so you always bring results to your doctor.

Is a fixed plan enough for you?

Sometimes, yes, and that is fine.

If all you want is a fixed plan to follow and a place to log your sets, a clean, simple workout app does that job well and there is no reason to switch. Many people make great progress with nothing more than a solid program they follow.

Equil is for the next step. When a fixed plan is not enough and you want the system to adapt it to your recovery, ease a bad sleep day, defend your glucose, read your blood test and coach you on your wrist, that is the line we sit on.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can Equil import my existing workout program?
Yes. You can import your program three ways: pick from a template library, build it manually, or snap a photo or PDF of a coach's plan and Equil extracts it. From there it adapts every session to your recovery and load, instead of handing you a plan that never changes.
How is Equil different from a workout app?
A workout app shows the plan you set and leaves the adjusting to you. Equil adapts it. It lowers training after a bad night of sleep, rebalances macros after a session, predicts glucose spikes and tunes hydration to heat. It coaches your program instead of just displaying it.
Can Equil read my blood test results?
Yes. Import a lab report as a PDF or photo. Equil extracts your biomarkers such as Vitamin D, ferritin, and cholesterol, tracks them over time, and explains in plain language what each value is. It does not diagnose or interpret results, it helps you track them.
Do I need a CGM or glucose monitor to use Equil?
No. Equil models your glucose response from your meals, timing, and activity, and surfaces spike-defense cues without any extra hardware.
Can Equil use my existing workout program?
Yes. Import a coach's PDF, a screenshot from another app, or a photo of your notebook. Equil parses it and then adapts it every day to your recovery and training load.

Stop logging. Start deciding.
